Uploading photos thats not made with Steam

Hello. Can someone help me how to upload photos to steam community? I know how to do it with screenshots made in steam games, but what about photos that were not made in game? I found some cool pictures on the internet and I wanted to share them in the community but I can't find how. Everytime it gives me choice only to upload screens from games that are in the steam library but nothing else. Thank you !

To have them show up on the forums, you need to upload them to your account. But you also have to make sure you created said content before uploading them because you can't just post a pic of a person and claim it is your own artwork.

Well that didnt helped me much. So how do you explain people thats posting wallpapers and artwork from games that they found on the internet, even when they are clearly not the authors? I just found some cool artwork and wallpapers on the internet about one game and I wanted to share them in the community of that game. There are already some promotional photos and since its nearly 20 year old game I highly doubt that people posting these photos are the creators

All content that was not created by the user who owns the account can be reported and removed as they must check the "I certify that I created this artwork" before uploading it.

Posting screenshots that are not found in game can also be reported and removed.

Well I can send you sh*t load of wallpapers and artworks that are clearly not made by those people and they only shared it. I guess I need to do what the guy is showing in the video.

Well its clearly not working very much since people posted those photos several years ago and no one is reporting anybody. And I've seen it like a hundred times. Plus why would somebody reported that you uploaded 20 years old wallpaper of your favourite game just so that other fans of the game can see it as well in the community? Well never mind, I already found a pretty easy way to do it in that video.

You'd be surprised how long something can be uploaded before getting reported and removed.

And yes, screenshots are only for actual in game screenshots.

Use the artwork for random stuff lol. I wanted help, you just being a smart ass (and not very good). Also " you can't just post a pic of a person and claim it is your own artwork." No one want to claim anything. I just wanted to share nearly 20 year old wallpaper for the fans of the game because it looks cool.

You can post pictures as an Artwork.
I use my alt account as picture dumpster and have crapload of random pictures uploaded there so when I post them in discussions they look like this

instead of just a link.

If website where you found the picture says don't upload it anywhere without creator's permission, then don't post it to Steam.
And if you post some artwork that you found, don't tell others that you've created it. And if possible give credits to the original author.

Now why would I do that? And giving the credit to the author is an obviousness. I already found an easy way in that first video I posted here. But thanks anyway.

i have a wierd problem i did a "picture" by my self from images from google and also edited them together whit all kinds of stuff and lighting... is it ok or something..... i said in the discription that the original pictures in my photo are not my own.. also when i try to uploas it wont work or something
