I accidentally deleted all the files from my GTA V main directory.
I accidentally deleted all the files from my GTA V main directory. When i try to download it again it says this''an error occured while updating Grand Theft Auto V (missing file priveleges) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V''. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Delete the directory, or try to verify the game's files?

Try to uninstall it before reinstalling it.

If that still doesn't work, consider changing the folder permission settings of your Steam library folder:

If still in recycle bin- right click restore
