I have two "SteamLibrary" folders on the same drive. Can I merge them?
Hi,
In short, I had to reinstall Steam one day, and when configuring the G drive, I accidentally made a new "SteamLibrary" folder instead of pointing to my old one. As a result, my G drive now has two SteamLibrary folders. The games I have in my old folder are unplayable via Steam; only the ones in my current one can be played.

There's a lot of games in my old folder I'd like to carry over. So my question is, is it as simple as just cut-pasting the game folders into the current working folder? Or would that cause a lot of issues for Steam somehow? (Obviously I have not tried this yet, in case it'd cause problems I can't easily fix)

Any help with this would be hugely appreciated.

You should be able to move the game folders over to the new folder, then you "install" the game. But Steam says, wait, I see those existing game files, I'll use those instead of downloading them. It may download any missing files or outstanding updates. And then you should be good to go.

Indeed, it was that simple. So far it seems to have worked like a charm, thank you!
