Valve cancelled my Valve Index Order

I have been trying to get in touch with steam support since this morning. I sat and waited right by my device to order the Index VR kit the SECOND that the countdown hit zero. As soon as it was time I smashed down to put the vr kit in my cart, pressed checkout, agreed to terms of service and SUCCESS. The Index was ordered. Then a couple seconds later as I sat in excitement the page refreshes and It says my order was declined. Well that's odd, I have the money in the bank, so I call the bank. Nope, the bank didn't and hasn't declined any transactions. I try again, DECLINED AND I AM RESTRICTED FROM MAKING PURCHASES. I refresh the page again because maybe I am just going crazy, and I no longer have the option to add to my cart, and can only reserve the Index for a JULY 31st DATE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I have tried to reach out via email, support ticket, calling... and nothing.

check the payment method, if it was not valid or cc was declined it would be canceled

Declined order, should have made a ticket right away. That holds your spot in line.

If it was declined and you still get charged, tell your bank that this happened with the paperwork om hand and get your money back. Done this many times with Ebay orders

If it was just simply declined, no charges that means you weren't fast enough and you were part of the excess that they couldn't fulfill therefore declined the transaction.

You are going to have to wait till they resupply.

valve doesnt get paid, you dont get item

I prefer using paypal mutch more reliable, I just use paypal as you just login with paypal and make one purchase and don't have some sort of credit authorization process.

Even those whose tried purchasing it with their wallet funds have been declined.

There's reports on Reddit about a lot of orders getting blocked and cancled by banks. Check your bank isnt the cause.
