Question regarding purchasing Ravenfield (or any other Steam game) with Steam Wallet ONLY. Plz help me ASAP !

Well, the help section hasn't been very helpful, so I want to pay for Ravenfield with Steam wallet ONLY. Is this possible ? If not, then can I use WeChat to pay for it, but deduct all money from my Steam wallet ? I have more questions, but as soon as someone replies, I'll issue the rest of my questions. Thx a lot.

Yes, it's possible but only if you have enough funds.

I do not see why it shouldn't be possible. Did you encounter any difficulties?

When you have sufficient funds in your wallet, that should be chosen as your payment method. If you do not have sufficient funds, you would have to either add funds to your wallet first or pay the difference using another payment method.

so if I have 200 hkd (which only 99 hkd is required to buy ravenfield) I can just use steam wallet at the review and purchase section and not even use a cent in wechat . Right ?

So when i have enough money, steam wallet automatically pops up in the payment method selection bar ?

Yes. Make sure 'Steam Wallte' is selected as your payment method and money will only be taken from your wallet.

There are numbers and letters/alphabets, blocks of five, with hyphens between them. As far as I know, letters are not case sensitive, so it doesn't matter if you capitalize them or not.

If you buy gift cards, you should't have trouble deciphering the codes, just mind that 0 and O could be confused (try 0 first). If you buy cards that are printed out at the register, you should also make sure not to confuse T with 1 or I, B with 8 or V with Y.

Also don't panic if you do get the code wrong the first time, the worst that can happen is that you have to wait ~1 hour before you can retry.

Do steam cards get overdue ? Or expired after a certain amount of time ? Or can I use the card anytime i want after purchase ?

Only printed codes can expire and it will tell you on the receipt.

Physical cards don't expire.
