There's a little box right beside the volume bar of the video. Deactivating it is saved in your client cookies, so it works for all videos once you do.

Cookies are bad...mkay. They are used to spy on you. For some like me i delete all cookies when i close the browser. So because i do that i have to be tortured with tons of videos that autoplay cos there is no option to turn them off?

You can stop being paranoid and deal with cookies sensibly. Blocking third-party cookies is a good start. Selectively blocking tracking cookies while ignoring the rest of them is the best solution both for usability and caution.

Stop being paranoid? You must own either an Alexa or use google too much. There are reasons i am the way i am and that is because long before snowden told us things i was onto them. You can submit yourself. Dont tell me to do the same.

I don't own a Dot (the device Alexa runs on) neither do I use the Google assistant. Me not being paranoid doesn't mean I'm on the other side of spectrum where I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about privacy at all.

To put an emphasis on that: There's a SPECTRUM. With being ignorant (or plain stupid) and submitting yourself being one extreme and paranoia being the other. The best place to be is, as with most spectrums out there, somewhere in the middle.

And frankly, Valve's cookies are, if you don't trust Valve, way less of an issue than the Steam account you have. If you don't trust Valve, you have to stay away from Steam for good, deleting the cookies while using your Steam account is similar to guard your backdoor with an attack dog and an electric fence while not even locking up your front door.
