Stopping non-Steam games running as admin
First: running Steam on Windows 7 (x64)
I have recently started adding some of my GoG games to steam so that I can stream them. The problem which I am having, is that it seems that Steam must be run as admin - at least I can't find a way to stop it doing so. As I have a seperate admin account, the games which are non-steam are executed by the elevated account, the one which is running Steam. This not only means that my saves are in my admin account, but also that all those games are running elevated, which I do not want.
Is there a way around this? I tried a batch file converted to an exe using runas, but as the password for the the normal account needs to be entered, it doesn't work for streaming/remote play.
I've tried stopping Steam running as admin, but the checkbox under the exe properties is both ticked and greyed out, so it doesn't seem that I can change that

Check the shortcut properties (in the advanced section) and Steam.exe properties (in the compatibility section) for administrator rights. If administrator is not enabled, then try launching Steam from the root directory (without using a shortcut). If it launches with regular privileges then create a new shortcut to your desktop.
