CS:GO - 2 files failed to validate -verify integrity of game files.
My game was stuttering horribly and was practically unplayable. I verified the integrity of game files and it said 2 were missing. I run csgo, have to install the missing microsoft direct x files and then my game runs smoothly. However, whenever I turn off and on my PC another day to play and I validate the files, I get the same two missing.

I did the "fix" where I create a new folder and remove the 3 installer files from the new folder and launch the game through steam. When I validate the game files again, I get the same missing 2 files. Should I not have validated again after the "fix" or should it be ok anyway (if I play without validating and installing the 2 files, since I did the "fix")? Thanks.

Ok, but I did it yesterday, played today and there was the stuttering etc, verified the integrity of the files and it was fixed.

Sounds as though you may have bad RAM or HDD SSD however I will say I get this error ( no stuttering just error ) on brand new machine, band new ram, memtested RAM no problems solid speed and timings, verify and no issue untill restart of system. Same machine running Fedora 30(currently) has no issue with this. So actually I have no idea BTW

well, for the people watching this one-year-old thread. What I did was delete csgo and it's game files and it worked again.
