Please add a way to revert back to the old layout...

Not much can be said really, it's all in the tittle. Allow us the option to revert back to the old library UI, because the new one is super un-user friendly. It's like navigating the Xbox One UI, which is really clunky and slow.
Valve give us this option as I feel many people will agree with me.

I agree! The new UI sucks! I want my list view back! I HATE the way you changed it with NO option to just use the old one. Why, why, why didn't you just make it an OPTION to use the new one? My theory is that UI designers change the UI constantly so that they can keep their jobs.

Whoever did this one has been playing too much Xbox. Whenever someone changes the UI, I want to ask them "Why? What was wrong with the old one?" Everyone was perfectly happy with the old UI. No one asked for changes. So why did you change it? People have enough issues in life with technology constantly changing. We LIKE things that work staying the way they are. I'vce been a Valve/Steam fan since the beginning, but this really pisses me off.

This is just one more way a company is saying "we want to change it, we don't care what you think, so suck it up - you have no choice but to use it if you want to keep playing your games!" It occurs to me that those of us who have a ton of games on Steam pout a huge amount of trust in them because they have complete control over our games - they can do what they want and we can't do anything about it. Grrr!!!

I never tried this in beta since I knew it would be garbage but I'm sure I read it would be optional at full release. I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ furious right now being forced to use this pile of crap

Can't stand this new layout. Every time I click on a game, I'm shown garbage that other people posted about it. I don't want to have to look at what amounts to pretty much a game's twitter feed. It's a pain to find info on the game itself, like DLC and all that. Please give us the option to use the cleaner version.

The new overlay is fine for some - but not me.
They system at it's very least should have the ability to switch back and forth.
I don't give a fig for the xbox like design.

Won't happen. Didn't happen every time there was a redesign (and people back then hated your favorite design just as, much) and won't happen now. But you guys can help yourself.
Example: instead of complaining about community content, disable it.
If it's too big, make it smaller with the appropriate setting (or try out the bona fide small mode). If the option you're looking for is missing, post constructive feedback.

this new UI sucks i can't find half of my games anymore, just had to look something up in the store and install it through the store page, because the library search function simply wouldn't find it (no typos!). what is this crap.

why is it so ahrd to just show a simple list of all your games and have search function that works
