Update changed the HUD, how do I access the games section with the new changes?

Hello!
I have a bit of a newb-sh question.
So, usually, I hover over the Library and there's a thing that says "games" to access my game, right?
Well, what I can only assume is the new update has changed that completely, to where the game library no longer lets me access my games. (Now only having the options of "Home", "Collections", and "Downloads" none of which seem to show games)
It might also be good to mention that, ever since I've had steam, my computer has never been able to load things like the store, community, or other tabs on the steam client, however the games section (the only section I really used) was always able to load. On top of that, steam always has me set to Offline, and has for maybe a year?
If anyone could help with either of these issues (preferably the HUD issue) I'd be grateful.

It doesn't get rid of that garbage UI for the rest. But at least your hand crafted categories are still there. Now valve needs to just let us get rid of that dumb "Whats New" BS.

Actually, the library doesn't have that dropdown, if you're talking about the other games section, there's no play button, but I'm assuming you're talking about the one in the library which I sadly cannot access for the life of me?

I think they mean on the Library's Home page, instead of the drop down. It should be near the top left of the screen.

Those screenshots show both (unless you're talking about inside of the steam library, but right now it's just slowly flickering between black and gray), is it just my version that's all messed up like this?
I'mma see if entering the beta participation will fix the issue.

Yeah, it just keeps flickering between black and gray, lemme see if I can record it.

I'm not sure what's flickering, but I can give you the usual "things to try when steam isn't working" list.

• Restart Steam
  
• Restart Your Computer
  
• Turn off your Computer then turn it back on again
  
• Make sure your OS is on the latest version
  
• Make sure Steam is on the latest version
  
• Just pray that it works this time despite trying all of the above

Also thanks for the advice m8, if those don't work I might just have to wait until the next steam update, which sucks but I'm sure it'll be fixed by then. :3

No problem, I hope one of those work for you.

I forgot to add it on the list, but under you steam settings, under the library tab (Steam>Settings>Library) selecting low performance mode and/or Low Bandwidth mode may help.

I've been up the wall with mine.
Hi guys, plz can you have a read of this an help me out as I been on
it all night? I logged into my MW2 DMZ and the bottom option of
'deploy, squad fill and something else I can't think of as on a diff
PC plus my missions applied' is like in a smaller box and in game
when I look down the red dot sight from small to the one before a
scope or even when looking down the irons I can now see the whole
gun and when I'm not looking in red dot or w/e I see the characters
arms and tattoo's which I never could, don't get me wrong it is
using the whole screen with landscape. It's just like the HUD and
gameplay amination so Alt and Enter don't work to full screen and
when I spectate a team mate I see HIM now not just his fingers and
gun! This has only just happened last night, all good up until then
and as far as I know I ain't changed anything to make this happen
and is only happening to steam games? Any help would be appreciated
as asking the pro's as I can't fix it and been trying all night!
My full monitor is being used like as usual only the players names
with the 3 plates you see is more towards the screen centre as is
the map above and ya gun and topicals in bottom right only it ain't
in bottom right, it's as I say more towards screen centre, I tried
the other steam CoD's and they all changed too so gotta be something
in steam as I have reset my monitor to factory settings and set it
all back to how it was as that didn't fix it either!
