Where Are Screenshots Stored At?
I have just captured 4 screenshots to compare the graphical changes between graphic options. When you close the game there was a screen was opening which lets you to find the folder of the screenshots you have taken are being stored at before. So you could go to the folder. That is important because every screenshots(based on the game I think) stored at different folders. Now that screen didn't open when I closed the game. I can see my screenshots I have captured on the Library though. But I need to know which I have captured first just by looking at screenshots' number.

Oh, I've found that. Just click on View and Screenshots. Then this screen opens. Then click on Show and choose the game you want to view the screenshots of. fyi.

You should be aware that your screenshot folder itself can be anywhere you tell Steam to put it.

They are also stored in your Steam directory under /userdata/yourname-or-number/760/remote/bunch of numbers. Each of the folders under 760/remote are games, which will have both the thumbnails and full screenshots of that game.

Wow, really? I didn't know. But can I store literally every screenshots I capture on a folder that I tell Steam to put in? How can I do that? Could you please say that to me?

I know. But as I've already stated previously every screenshots stored at different folders. There are many folders called the same numbers like 7 and 760. I don't see my name on userdate. lol.

If I remember correctly, in the Steam client's menus at the top of the screen, click:

Steam>Settings>"In-Game" tab

You'll see an option to set what keyboard button takes a screenshot (default is F12), and beneath that is a checkbox for "Also save an uncompressed copy". Enabling that let's you set a folder in your computer to store all your screenshots in.

Be aware that this is actually making a copy of the screenshot. So whenever you press the screenshot button in game, it will create an image in that folder, but it will ALSO create a screenshot in those numbered folders in your "userdata" folder. These are the files Steam is accessing when you look at your screenshots within the Steam client.

Note that when you set this new folder for screenshot copies, it won't copy over your already existing screenshots. You'll have to do that manually. If you look at a game's screenshots in the Steam client and click on "Show on disk", it'll take you to the right location in your userdata folder, and you can manually copy the images from there.

Hope that all makes sense!

Whilst on the topic of Screens shots (for those who might know), in this new GUI on my game Tekken 7, i took some screenshots and it shows up right under the heading of the game when i click on Tekken 7, (which is fine), but, i want that hidden.. In other words, i want to Hide my screen shots from being previewed when i click on a game that i'm going to play.
Is there a know way to do this? (apart from actually deleting the files)?

I haven't dared to try the new Library UI myself yet, but I should point out that this was always kind of the case with the old UI's Details view of your games.

There was a screenshot section displayed on a game's Details screen, and there was no way to hide these, BUT you had to scroll down to see that this screenshot section was there. So it was accidentally hidden.

Thanks for responding....
Your very correct about the old gui always having your screenshots previewed, however, it was "faded" so it wouldn't be that clear to be seen when you click on a game... Well, it would be clear, but not "That" clear... Know what I mean?..
In that format , i was fine with that, but in this new GUI, everything's Super clear... like Reallly clear... and I was just wondering if there was a way to make it similar to the way it was before, or a way to remove the screen preview completely....

Oh, thanks. I have never realized that. That's really so much helpful! =D

Yes, I understand that.

That's so bad that I can't set a folder inside a folder. I want to create a folder in "My Documents" which will let me know there are Steam screenshots are stored at but I can't see the folders inside My Documents.

You should be able to select a folder within My Documents, although I'm afraid I can't remember precisely how to do that.

I just know that I created a "Steam Screenshots" folder withing My Pictures, and all my screenshot copies go there. I then have different folders for different games within that "Steam Screenshots" folder, and I have to manually move my screenshots into those.
I hate that they took away the screen that opens your screenshots taken after closing a game.
Sometimes I even forget that I took a screenshot and that auto screen opening helped me to remind that I took one.
