Same The new update is NOT family sharing friendly.. me and my friend's libs are now merged.. It cant be that hard to add 1 option to let you sort, to see your games, and games of your family shared ones.. a filter or such..

Temporary Solution

Create a new "Dynamic Collection" of your installed games.

This is a folder of games at the top of the list that will be automatically updated to show only games currently installed. Super helpful if you have thousands of shared games you never intend on playing.

That would be partially helpful, I dont have most of my games installed but that would at least have the games I frequently play be more available

yeah they need to add a filter or separate section like the old library i have an account with hundreds of games shared to me and its a pain scrolling through all of them for one game

Very much agree with this... my husband has like 200 games to my 40 or so, and it makes my list HUGE. Sure, I can filter to what I have installed, but I have quite a few of his games installed. I want to be able to just see my games, so I know what I can play if he wants to use his library at the same time. PLEASE add a filter or category sort for owned vs. shared!

I was hoping the Dynamic category at least would have an option for that, but alas... no.

Yeah they need to fix this ASAP. I have access to a family account and my brothers private account and now I can't see which games I actually own vs. partially have access too. Also, I am stuck sifting through a list of 200+ games just to find the 1 game I own and want to reinstall.

ASAP? Been hearing about it since Sept 17th.

I haven't been on in a while and this OP was from yesterday... still think they should fix it though. Sorry if I somehow offended you.

The only way how to separate all my games from my boyfriends I found is to make a new folder and one by one move my games to that folder. I have only 54 games, so it wasn't that hard, but sometimes I wasn't sure if the game is mine or not. But there is some ways how to find out which game is mine and which is my boyfriends.

I would like to create an automatic "collection" or have the option to view shared games like before

this has essentially removed a good UI feature from the Steam library, and you know what that is called: worse!

I have/had this issue with my dad's account, and i don't know if it's a bug, feature, pure luck, but I logged out of my account, logged on his account, then logged back out and back on to my account, and now i no longer see his games (but i don't see them at ALL now)

so they still need to fix this, but this might help some of you unmerge your libraries till then

I too really would like some kind of filter for "My Games" and "My Friends" games. Now it is a huge libaray, and although I like SOME of the games my friend has, on the other side he likes games i really don't want to see in my library...it is a bit messy now.
