They do read the DNS cache (a list of web addresses your computer has looked up) as part of anti-cheat, but all that does is look for certain cheat program activity in it. Their pattern matching won't match anything else.
If you are in the EU you can request that Valve sends you a list of all the data they have on you. I can't remember where the screen for that is.
so family share to another account might be the right way,
then you access other account for content, and none knows you play from diffrent account.
unless they have access to it. ( offline play also possible but then its only single player game, not possible to many games today all are online client , and that brake what you try to do. )
but dont think that steam wont know other account access other account, its more a other user wont know solution.
or make a real other account and buy games there. is also 100% unknown user ( diffrent user )
Hi, thanks for your awnser, but no, I'm talking about steam always reading my activity on the internet, for example: if i am watching a video on youtube of any game and then open up steam, the "steam news" windows that open with steam will recommends me to buy that game. It happens me all the time -.- and i do not know how to turn that off.
If you pick an uncommon game completely at random does it do it? Sometimes a game is trending so they just push it to news feeds automatically.
