If you're using 'Quest store Virtual Desktop' with steam VR (Since you're asking here...) why not just use a PC and OBS to capture the VR view, you can set the audio sources in OBS which would be called:
"Speakers (Virtural Desktop audio)"
"Microphone (Virtural Desktop audio)"
Which can all be done wirelessly, this being the main reason why I got the quest 2 just be sure you have a decent 5g router that isn't too far away
You'd need buy Virtual Desktop from the 'Quest Store' it's like 15-20 dollars, worth the price...

There is no risk of bricking your device. I'd stay away from adb command settings in sidequest though
