It won't.
I have save data in my remote storage, yes, but I'm not sure how to go about actually using it. What you've linked to is what I called the "cloud save viewer" in my original post. Some files are (presumably unwanted) save files from today's wiped session, but there are a couple .bin files that are from a week or so ago. Do you know what I should do with them and whether these are enough to recover the old game progression?
As for your video, I ran the validation but it did not seem to help...
Yes, hopefully I can find a save file that is only 50% story completion as the game doesn't allow for replaying story missions...
I can navigate there and there are "SLOT0" save files (with many different filenames) but this was last saved today and presumably represents the 0% progress save slot. There are also a couple files like "migrated.bin? and "profile2.bin" that were last saved a week or so ago, but I do not know how this impacts the save slot or if it even contains the data about my progression...
Additionally, there is only SLOT0 -- no other Slots are there even though I custom saved once or twice to another slot...
Do I need to download all 25 files or do I need to be selective?
I'm trying to find a way to post my screenshots of the files here for clarification.

I think you may be right. I think the god mode speed run is the most practical option, but it's genuinely depressing to think of having to spend so much time re-doing everything. Thanks for your help, at any rate.
