offline mode

I have set the steam at offline mode and i have check the rememper password button. The computer is not connected to internet and stem usally load correct. But some times it request password at loading without reason. Please help me because I must relocate temporarly the pc to a place with internet any time this happens. Thanks you in advance.

This is actually intentional. While the time it takes between the password requests varies and can last between weeks and months, Steam wants to make sure every once and then, that it is still you, who is using the files.

Steam does that time to time even if you're perma offline mode? Or only if you let it connect to internet for short time.

People stay in offline mode for months even years. I myself sustained offline mode for 6 months not long time ago (and possibly could sustain more,I just willingly connected that PC to internet again). There is a lot of contradicting information about that over internet. However i did not use "save password" token or whatever it is. Just username saved and password typed manually.
