shift tab delayed

when i shift tab into steam overlay in csgo it takes like 2 seconds before it opens and when i shift tab out of it, it goes out immediately

without knowing your specs it could be that your CPU is maxed out in CSGO since most people that play that game want 500 trillion fps and let their systems go ham on the fps. from what i have read about the game is it is very CPU dependant and it could be not enough resources left to open the overlay smoothly.

does it happen with other games?

i checked my cpu usage in task manager, it barely goes above 30. I don't think this happens in other games

have you tried asking over on the CSGO discussion board? perhaps other users have experienced similar issues.

start by searching the CSGO discussions and if you can't find anything related perhaps create a discussion

sorry i can't offer any solutions because i don't play CSGO and have never dealt with the issue.
