Max read and write speed option?

I got a m.2 ssd and they are fast! (3,2GB/sec read an write). But i saw that steam max use 200mb/sec is.

Can we change this?

You mean to write that fast while you’re installing a game? To write it out at that speed you’d probably have to be downloading it at around 2.5 GB/s...

Note thats the 'theoretical sequential read' which is basically worthless because literally nothing you do ever does that

They post that speed because it 'looks cool' but unless you're copying data from one drive to another you're never ever going to get that in real world situations

Look at your perf mon and you'll see

1) either you IO is 100% capped
2) your CPU is 100% capped
