Steam totally screwed my "Select" button
So apparently my select button is f'ed up, I'm using a generic gamepad ( forgot the type )
Like a weeks ago my select button is totally normal, and now when I'm trying to play Hollow Knight with my gamepad, the button totally stopped.
But if I play a non-steam game, the button works.

I've already checked on forums, zero.
Right now I totally not play anything beside a non-steam game.. pls help me

Have you tried playing other games on steam?
I'd say you would just need to map the buttons manually, as some games don't have the controllers mapped at all and some have partial mapping but the rest you need to do manually. Try fiddling around with the controller settings in Big Picture mode.
EDIT:
Literally the post underneath yours:

So might be an issue with a new update. Try fiddling with settings, if that doesn't work, maybe think about contacting steam support or try the fix mentioned there.

No, you don't. The gamepad options are in the normal Steam settings.

Ok so all of them are checked, and now do I need to uncheck them all in order to disable Steam input mapper?

Well, I wouldn't say all of them. It's enough to disable the input mapper for the kind of gamepad you're using. I would also recommend against the one about focusing Steam as that's pretty useful.

So if I'm using a generic gamepad, I need to uncheck the "Generic Gamepad" ?

That's what logic dictates, doesn't it?
By the way, you may need to dis- and reconnect the gamepad afterwards.

I'll try it, if it doesn't work well it's because of Steam Update then
