That should stop anything playing.
As for why it starts, there's some key combination to start it which I still don't know, but if another key on your system is stuck (software-wise, I suppose), well, SMP will listen to the key combination it listens to.
Still, stopping the music is as easy as stopping it in WMP.
I'm going to try Teo's suggestion, but since I never used SMP in the first place, I have no idea why it even has those tracks loaded, so I don't know if it's going to do it again and just grab more random tracks, or the same ones from whatever folder it's accessing.

It's not a magical key combination, it's a reproducible bug, explained in Jonny's link.
FWIW I only know that "clear queue" thing because I also don't want an obscure extra process paused or loaded in memory. I'm pretty happy-go-lucky with most things, but want my PC stuff under my control.
Eh, fine. Semantics, unfortunately written, whatever.
Consider it examples of things I don't want happening, instead.
You'd have a better position for that if you'd been at all useful in any effective or relevant way before that point, but you're just here to be aggressive and then act hurt when you provoke any reaction at all. There's a game here on Steam that features Bennett Foddy that I'd highly recommend for you; in the meantime, I'm gonna see if I can get this thread closed; I've provided and confirmed my feedback, and we're accomplishing nothing else, since others have no more practical feedback and you're just begging for attention.
