Can steam card code generators, in the slim chance it can, steal my code for a gift card?
I was wondering if those generator things bypass steam and can get my code(s) that i havent used yet and am going home, or is steam as secure as ive heard? i hope it is

There are millions of combinations and a Steam key on a Wallet card gets only activated the moment you buy it. If the card has not been activated in the store you bought it, the key on it does nothing and does not get recognized by Steam.
So in that timeframe from buying/activation till you use it, someone would need to hit exactly that combination of numbers/letters from a possible combination of millions and millions.

Thats not even unlikely, thats approaching statistically impossible.
No matter how much "bad luck" you have.
That would be like winning the lottery 10 times in a row probability.

No I mean specifically WHERE? What site?

Here's a clue: if the site name is blocked or censored here, it's not a legitimate site and should not be used. If it's not censored, it is probably okay? I don't deal with 'code generators', only physical cards, myself.

If you buy a physical card and have it activated properly at the counter, that's 100% okay. Anything else? as I said?

oh no i mean i always buy them physically at longs drugs store, and im worried that somebody across the world or smthn using a code generator site and ends up reedeming my code(s) that i havent even seen yet because it hasnt been scratched off. I have very bad luck thats why, so i am always paranoid about things like this

You would have to know the algorithm valve uses to make those codes, which I doubt is made public, even if it got leaked, they could just switch algorithms

Ok thanks for the help guys, i feel more relieved now that i know that

Just make sure that when you do buy them, that they ARE activated properly at the counter. Seen plenty of threads about people who don't bother to check, and later find out their cards are meaningless and they threw the receipt out. (never do that! always keep them until you know the card amount has been put on your wallet! - myself, I keep the card physically and write when I used it, right on it.)
