Can I use a Maestro Debit card on steam?

I just got my maestro debit card. I'm under 18 and I can't create a PayPal account. Is there a way I can add steam funds? I tried to select Mastercard but it does not work.

Mastercard owns Maestro Debit Card. Picking "Mastercard" as payment option should work.

Why can’t you create a paypal account? If it’s age I’m 14 for goodness sake and I have a paypal on standbye.

It claims 18+ cause they expect younger kids to be irresponsible and cost their parents several thousands, but if you don’t use it irresponsibly then it’s fine

Now if you’re just making one for future used once you are old enough then it’s ok, I just use normal credit card instead of paypal

Or you could get a minor or student account but your parents would have to help you sign up with it

I’m just saying you don’t have to be a certain age to do some things, although it’s probably for your own good depending the situation, but sometimes it’s alright to use it if your underage (but bad if it’s alcohol, drugs, and sometimes M games)
