Steam Overlay + FPS indicator

Is there any FPS benchmark software that does not disable Steam Overlay? I've noticed that FRAPS does so, any tips?

It does but if I do so Steam Overlay will not work.

rivatuner can display your fps as well as many other things without disabling the steam overlay.

Use MSI afterburner with Rivertuner. There is plenty of other software out there that will give you a fps counter though i recommend you use Steams built in one. Works fine and does the job well.

I play at 1080p and the fps monitor works perfectly and is easy to see when you have the high contrast color option selected.

The '''It works fine for me''' statement is stupid, because everyone has different tastes/eyes/preferences.

Shadowplay has a decent FPS counter if you've got an Nvidia GPU. (Also allows you to record gameplay.)

Or, as others have said, MSI AB + RTSS.
You can show all your hardware info, CPU temps/usage, GPU temps/usage, RAM usage, Framerates/times. And, you can also limit framerate; it's the best frame limiter on the market.
