Steam Cloud Sync. Enable or DIsable?
I recently got my newer PC fixed and had to re-install Steam and all of my games to it. I updated Steam and played games on my old PC while my new one was getting fixed. Now on my new PC whenever I am done playing a game on my new PC, it syncs to the Steam cloud. I don't recall my new PC ever syncing with Steam cloud before it broke. So my question is should I keep it enabled or should I disable it? I've read through Steam's official article on what Steam cloud is, but I am still very confused. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Up to you but I also recommend using https://www.gamesave-manager.com/ .

Cloud saves can be hit or miss, depending on the game and how you use them.

Personally, I have them enabled as a "backup"-ish kind of feature.

However, for some (many?) games, "saves" also includes things like graphics or input settings. Thus, if you play on multiple PCs (with the same account, of course) with different hardware, this can be annoying. However, since you can't tell the game to only transfer progress but not settings (and to make things even more complicated, some settings should be transferred as they relate to gameplay rather than hardware), it's really up to you how you want to handle this...

On a positive note, i've found it useful for several games where settings are important.

Surely, i could just keep a copy of a few local config files, but my PC is a mess with files scattered.

In Quake Live, i pretty much use the same settings regardless of which hard-ware i play on, and the cloud sync comes in clutch.
