Is there any way to recover a Steam review?

I was writing a long review on Kenshi and a blackout occurred right when I was about to finish, is there any way I can recover my progress?

Not unless you have written it in a word processor that keeps backups.

Sorry, nope. I had that happen too. Write the review in a text editor before putting it into Steam. Save it often.

If you were still on the page, and didn't leave it, ctrl z reverse what you typed but can only go so far back. Anyways as others said save it in a safer place, so if web page goes down, or something happen at least you have it on better place.

I deleted some good reviews over the years. Those bad days when you do things you regret. It would be awesome if software companies enable that kind of recovery option. I'm sure they are floating in a Steam server somewhere.
