Edit: Is the screenshot Private by accident?
I just tried Alt+Enter, to throw the client into big picture mode, and Alt+Enter again to exit back to the standard client view.
Now when I click a link to a game in a post, it opens in the exact same detached window, with no menu bar / taskbar, rather than opening in the main client window.
On Linux I can use Ctrl+Alt+ArrowKey to switch to a second (or more) desktop environment.
Is it possible that the main client window is still open on a secondary desktop?
(Sorry, my knowledge of Windows is over a decade out of date now.
The only other thing that I have seen after a quick search, is a similar *but NOT identical* issue on Windows 10 where the whole Steam client window was flickering. In those cases it looks like it was solved by disabling high DPI scaling in the Steam shortcut compatibility settings, or disabling text scaling in Windows entirely in the display settings.)
Good luck Akkey, it must be frustrating.
