steam wont accept my card

steam wont accept my debit card it says you card has been declined by the credit card company i checked with my bank i have enough money and the purchase is going through steam just isnt accepting the money i have been trying since yesterday if anybody knows anything i can do to fix this thanks

i did it the third time the purchase didnt go through they confirmed its just steam not accepting the funds the purchase is going through but the funds are being put on hold and not being accepted

I'm attempting to buy a game with my debit card as well & I have the same message: "Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company.

Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After correcting any errors in the information displayed below, please try your purchase again."
I have more than enough to complete the 10 dollar purchase I'm attempting to make, I don't get what's up.

steam finally let me make a purchase 3 days later by the time steam support got back to me it already fixed
