If I uninstall a Non-Steam game for more space, will that get rid of it permanently?
For example, let's say I downloaded Paraworld. I need to play Vermintide with my friends, but the game is so massive that my computer needs to get rid of Paraworld, the only other game in my library. The problem is that Paraworld is a Non-Steam game and uninstalling might get rid of the notoriously difficult to find game. Will it?

The link in your library to any non Steam game remains, even if you uninstall the game itself.
It will still show as "installed" since its not a Steam game. but it wil not longer work ( since the link does not point to anything) and the installation will of course be gone.
If you no longer have the discs or other means to install the game again then yes, its gone for good.
You cant reinstall it over Steam, just the same way you did the first time.

Gotcha, thank you. I just wanted to make sure if Paraworld got deleted that there could be a chance I can lose it. I will be careful.

I'm trying to make sense of what your'e saying. Steam uses the term "non-steam game" for any program you want to add to your steam library list, but it's basically a shortcut. If you try to delete it from your library it will ask "are you sure you want to delete this shortcut" a shortcut is like 1kb which is probably 0.000000000001% of your hard drive space lol. The reason people do this is because it's sometimes easier to launch a game/program through the steam library and it also enables the steam overlay which is useful for many obvious reasons.

But when it comes to a game like warframe, which technically isn't a steam game but is available on steam. If you choose to delete that. Yes it will erase all of warframe.
What happens if I delete a non-Steam game, can I install it again on another computer? Sorry about my English!:boomer:

If you have the installer of the game or the cd.
Adding non steam game to steam is basically like adding an icon on desktop would be.
