Ideas/Suggestions of Games With Sentries/Turrets in them..?
I apologize if this is the wrong Forum for this; but I'm wondering if there are many games that allow you to place Turret-style 'companions' to help you in fights/battles.

I have recently been popping back into Diablo 3 (using placed immobile "Sentries" with the Demon Hunter player class) and remember some little guys from Tribes Ascend helping me (as a Technician?) as well - thinking of these types of game mechanics again, I was wondering - are there any/many other games that allow you to utilize Turrets/Sentry style 'helpers' in them?

Thanks for any ideas!

Borderlands 1,2 commando classes. Mr. Zurkon was a mobile turret in the Ratchet and Clank games.

That's more for suggestions to change and improve steam.
I think most games that have an engineer class allow you to place down a sentry/turret that you can pick up and redeploy.

Unless you're talking about one that is mobile and can follow you about.

you could play Kerbal Space Program and improvise by building weapons of mass destruction that are SO POWERFUL that they can DELETE ENTIRE FREAKING PLANETS
that damage is only reversable by restarting the game, or you could "summon a kraken" that can destroy every ship in a save at once

oh wait...
you were talking about sentries/turrents...
BD armory? well, KSP isnt that good of a game for turrents...

If you mean 'player character that can set up devices to patrol / defend or shoot', Agents of Mayhem is super fun. Couple of characters do that iirc.

Star Wars Republic commando. You didn't have turrets but teammates which sort of fits in with this idea. Really fun game.
