I got gifted a game got the game but it says the gift is pending...
I got gifted a game got the game but it says the gift is pending and i am too scared to decline it if i would lose the game, is this a glitch or can i decline it and he can have the game too? i dont know what to do here? Can someone help me?

If someone gifted you a game there are 2 options, accept or decline. If you accept it, check your library for the game and once found you are free to close the gifting window.

If you decline it, your friend will get his/her money back.

Where does it say it's pending? Usually when you accept a gift, it's instantly added to your library.

Check your library. If its in there you can close the window. Though i find it hard to believe you will have left it "pending" for a week.

as i said i got the game it is in my library but in the upper right corner it says "1 new gift" and i dont want to decline if i will lose the game

It's just a UI bug, at this point you cannot decline the gift, the key is registered to your account and will remain that way.

Click accept on it again and see what it does. If nothing works, though do not click decline. Contact steam support.
