Any fix for steam ui freezing after sleep mode?
I have only seen a few other people mention this problem. Win 10, fully updated, newish hardware. After putting my computer in sleep mode (seems to be random but seems to happen more when the computer has been asleep for 8+ hours.), the ui freezes, the steam client itself will still be responsive, I can click store/library/community/profile, but the main ui it'self will become unresponsive, rendering a black page.

It's quite annoying and these are the kind of bugs one expects a billion dollar company like valve to be able to catch before rolling the entire update upon everyone at one time. Any help would be appreciated, the only way to fix it that i know of is to exit and restart the client.

I was just searching for this issue but I already have GPU accelerated rendering turned off so it probably doesn't fix it.

Outdate cache from hibination or sleep mode is nothing new, that is the problem, and user can have just exit steam, then all this will not happend, all things change over time and its your problem and lack of refresh of its content, not sure if this is a steam issue at all then things get outdate and pc keep use things that dont match anymore.

gl with it,
apps dont work like that anymore, they use a more frequent update on the fly. its online not check version update version change on every page
