xbox 360 (Wired controller) (Device Descriptor Request Failed) what to do?
hi guys, I just bought xbox 360(Wired controller) from online and I thought it supposes to be plug n play?
I can't switch on and it keep saying (Device Descriptor Request Failed) when I check the device manager. Any solutions?

Windows 10 home, yea for some reason it doesn't work, I have tried manually installed the driver software and uninstall the (Device Descriptor Request Failed) stuff in device manager -> restart and still remain the same issue.

the software called: xbox 360 accesories software 1.2

Thats strange, on Windows 10 any Xbox pad should be automatically be recognized.
Never had any problem with it, neither with wired or wireless ones.

And you have a "real" wired pad yes? Not one where you can pull out the cable at the pad end?

Then i honestly dont know whats wrong, sorry.
Never encountered that problem in 10+ years of using Xbox pads on PC.
