Game saying I played seven hours when I bought it 4 hours ago
Like the title says plus I haven’t even installed the game yet? Steam won’t refund me because of said 7 hours. What can I do? I’ve already submitted multiple tickets stating this but I’m pretty sure they don’t read them as I get the same response every time.

Free weekends, family sharing and offline hours all are counted as well.

Tickets get read, they just use copy/paste responses as that's quicker.

Have you played the game on a free weekend, or with family sharing, or anything like that? If so those hours count too.

select the game from your purchase history, select "I have a question". explain what you want to do.

then you can hope for a better answer.

the first time you submit a ticket, all they check is to see if the purchase is with in the refund window (2 hours playtime and less then 2 weeks owned).

Did you play the game previously via family sharing, free weekends, etc?

I play it on Xbox if that matters? I have not played on the computer yet.

Sometimes if my wifi is bad or the power goes out or somthing nothing uploads to the cloud and my hours can be totally wrong, thats in my experience tho.

WHY exactly did you buy a game then want to refund it without even installing?
