Transfer a steam game to a new pc from USB flash drive?
I have wwe 2k19 downloaded on my old pc. the internet speed is very slow and it will take hours to download the game directly on a new computer. So i decided to transfer the game to usb drive from the old computer. Then I've connected the USB drive to the new pc and copied the game file to common folder in steamapps on the new pc. But still steam doesn't recognize the game as downloaded. When i click play it starts downloading it again. What should i do?

Go back to your old PC >> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps
copy out all the appmanifest_12345.acf files each of these represents a game is installed to the Steam client
They sit freely below the Workshop not in any folder in that directory.
Then you could right click game in library properties>local files tab>verify game files.
Exit Steam use the Steam top left corner >exit.
Restart. Should be good to go.
