Friends list font getting cut off

I booted up Steam today to find that my friends list 'status' section is now cut off. When I'm set to 'online' it looks like this:

It also persists into playing a game or being in the overlay:

This is the only font/line of text anywhere that's doing this, and I suspect it has something to do with how I logged into Steam today during its weekly maintenance. When I logged on the first time today it showed me/my friends list as 'offline' but still allowed me to navigate the client normally, after that was when it started doing this.

I've tried:
Restarting Steam/my PC.
Unhooking my ethernet cable and back in to try to fool Steam into taking me offline and back on.
Tinkering with my friends list settings, switching them on/off and restarting a couple times during this as well.

Its not a huge issue and I'm sure it'll correct itself sooner or later, but I've never had this happen before and I'm just wondering if there's a fix.

Agree there is some funny stuff going on with Steam as new features are being added and modified so we might some weird changes or they maybe glitches lol
Try deleting the steam downloads cache.
Did you change the Fonts size in web browser Steam?

Tried deleting the download cache to no avail, sadly. No font options are helping either. I'm hoping that maybe the next time they push an update/weekly maintenance happens, it fixes itself. I wouldn't like to reinstall Steam entirely over a minor problem like this.

Glad (but feels bad) to know that I'm not the only one. I'm currently going nuts seeing this still happen even after clean Steam reinstall....I'll just wait for the next update I guess and see if it fixes.

That's happening to me too. Just started recently, all it says is On when I'm online. HAHA not a big deal but annoying.

This sounds exactly like what I'm experiencing, but (unless I'm mistaken) those forums are for the client beta, right? I'm not opted into the beta.
