Hide an item in Steam Workshop

Is there any way to hide an item in Steam Workshop so that it is not presented to my account?

I am a huge fan of the game Lords of Xulima and use a mod or two. There is one mod, that I do not want to flag as inappropriate content, that nevertheless is not something that I want my young daughter to see (Cannibalism). For some goofy reason, of all of the potential mods for this game, Steam automatically highlights this one in the mod showcase when I go to my landing page for this game.

I really don't want to down vote or flag the mod as inappropriate, other people may enjoy it. I just don't want it on my showcase for my daughter to see.

According to this post you can make it hidden, and only visible to your own profile.

What you want isn't possible, afaik. You'll have to ask the author to hide it for you. But I'm not sure what will happen to it's subscribers, if it does that.

Besides, cannibalism is cannibalism. And I doubt if many believe in it. But many creatures can be cannibals. (I know it's horrible, but it's true.)

The chimpansee for example, can sometimes eat another groups´ young. Yes... they are. No one knows why. And many female insects and spiders eat their male counterparts.
It´s a jungle out there.

Thank you both. @austrAlien2010 - agreed, cannibalism is cannibalism. However, my daughter is fairly young and the profile pic for this particular mod is not quite PG.
