Just don't get VAC-banned and the problem becomes a non-issue.

If you get VAC Banned for lets say CSGO, you will not be able to play games from the makers of CSGO. If Rainbow Six developers/owners have made CSGO then you will not be able to play it indeed. But best is to not get VAC Banned and like Kargor said, then the problem becomes a non-issue.

That is incorrect.

VAC bans are only for the game in question and only effect connecting to VAC secured servers. Valve games using source and source gold which ban as follows:

What games can I play if I have been VAC banned?

VAC banned accounts can still play single-player games, local LAN games, and multiplayer on non VAC-secured game servers. To find non VAC-secured servers, from the Steam main menu click on View, select Servers, then select Not secure in the Anti-cheat dropdown.

Cheating in one of the following Source games or a Source mod will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list below:

Counter-Strike: Source
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Day of Defeat: Source
Team Fortress 2

Similarly, cheating in one of the following Gold Source games will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list below:

Counter-Strike
Condition Zero
Ricochet
Day of Defeat
Team Fortress Classic
Half-Life: Deathmatch
Deathmatch Classic

The only thing you stated that is correct is that’s it’s easier to just not get banned so that’s it’s a non-issue.

So yes I was banned on csgo because I did some stupid things and didn’t think anything of it as it was just csgo. But I was thinking about getting rainbow six but I’m nervous if I buy it will I just get banned from it and be unable to play it and waste $30.
But yes I’m vac banned on csgo so should I not get rainbow six?
