Steam chat is not working - looking like being offline
So I have problem for like one month when friends & chat window is not working properly and as a user I'm seen as being offline. On the other side I can see my friends online under profile menu on Steam. Tried fix with "-nochatui -nofriendsui" that didn't worked out. I have this same problem on secondary PC. Some fix or it's problem on Valve side?

Make sure you have a stable internet connection and an up to date steam and or windows. If thats check then it could be maybe you are 'invisible' so your status is offline for others. Try reinstall steam?

Can I reinstall Steam without loosing 1TB of games? Idk, how it works, because I never did that. Also I think that's not the problem, because I tested another machine running Win/Linux.
No idea.

Log out. Go to the Steam folder. Delete everything except the Steam.exe, Steamapps folder and the userdata folder.

Click on the Steam.exe .
