Xbox one controller calibration issue

Hello, I just received my new Xbox controller and I'm having some issues. I manly play racing games like F1 2019 with my controller but I'm having some issues with it. Whenever I move my analog stick and left and right trigger at about 60-70% way, the game shows 100% travel. I tried the calibration as well but no luck. It goes 100% when I've only moved it lit 60-70%. Any idea what's causing this and how I can fix it?

First, disable Steams input mapper. That move alone fixes tons if potential issues.

Steam settings, gamepad options.

I suppose you're looking for later-by-letter-identity. It's called "Controller" there.

Verbatim, it's General Controller Settings->Xbox Configuration Support. Disable it and restart Steam. Or unplug and reconnect the gamepad. Word on the street is, Steam may cling to it still otherwise.

Didn't work. I even closed the steam but no luck. It still goes 100% at 60% input. I think it's a controller issue. I'm probably gonna return it tomorrow. Thank you for the help ReBoot.
