Rtx 2060 super
Whats the best settings to get higher fps in games like bfv, insurgency sandstorm. I play at 1440 with a rtx 2060 super, ryzen 5 2600, 16gb of ram and only. Max out on sandstorm at around 95 fps and thats on medium settings i thought a 2060 super could do better then that

1. Have some honor and play BF4 instead of BFV. (its better anyways)

2. Use Nvidia geforce experience app to optimize each game you play.
Not enough fps?
Turn off rtx and or all Anti-aliasing.

3. An RTX 2060 is the same as a GTX 1060 but with Cuda Cores...
I haven't played Sandstorm but on the first insurgency I get around 200 fps on Custom
( Low and Ultra ) settings on my RTX 2080 8gb.

Edit: 1440p gaming eats FPS like no other and is kinda reaserved for lite games or Solo Campaign modes...
I'd only ever play in 1080p for Multiplayer.
Try scaling your display down in the Nvidia control panel.
( note,) this will only change the res of your games, not your desktop.

Yeah, no. Not even close.

The standard 2060 has about 50% more performance power then the 1060 and the 2060 Super is about as fast as a GTX 1080.

I don't think adding bloatware is the solution.

Its not bloatware, I use it mainly for Driver update reminders...
That's kinda important.

You don’t need to be a smarty pants to know a 2060 is much stronger than a 1060 and GFE is bloatware.

95 FPS at 1440p medium sounds about right, bear in mind, that’s the same amount of pixels as 4K 50ish FPS.

Let's add some useful and correct information.

1 - RTX 2060 Super is very close to a RTX 2070
and it has some more improvements compared to standard RTX 2060 such as:
- more Cuda Cores than RTX 2060
- 8gb instead of 6gb
- higher frequency

This been said, the RTX 2060 is very far from 1060 in terms of performance:

- in 1080p, the RTX 2060 Super gives you about twice the FPS than a GTX 1060 6gb
- in 1440p, it gives you a bit less of twice the FPS

Check here:

The RTX 2060 Super is also better than the GTX 1070.
Check here:

Finally, performance may vary from game to game, even significantly.
