yes!
microsoft is as always useless on such matters, its frustrating!
I tried almost all of the drivers from the MS Catalog and none worked for the hardware ID I have (USB\VID_045E&PID_02FE). One did, but was blocked - code 48 - and disabled.
This worked immediately without error at all.
After hours of searching and trying everything, I thank you for the direct link. You saved me a bit of sanity - what little I have left.
Cheers!
I was about to call Microsoft to either complain or RMA, until I found this useful steam post. Now my Wireless adapter works perfectly!! Thank you!
Still going to call Microsoft anyway...
This worked for me! I had an old controller laying around. Nothing worked to get it working.
I already tried several drivers from that website https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com
but with your help I now found the correct one and that worked like a charm!
If it´s only works for controllers o may be used as standar bluetooth receiver for more devices.
I´m trying and no works for more, I saw it in device manager and appears like network adapter instead USB device or a gaming device
