Idling PUBG will most likely give your account a Game ban from PUBG.

Complete false. Idle Master is harmless. I idled thousands of cards with it over the years, there never was a problem. It does not interfere with the game running process at all, it just sends the information to Steam that a game is running. That is all. Its the same as manually starting a game and just letting it run.

The developer recommended not letting it run at the same time when you play VAC games but only as a precaution. There is not a single known case of Idle Master triggering a VAC or game ban.

I dont see anything in there that would apply to Idle Master.

That is a portion of what they ban for. They also ban for idle farming.

"Idle Farming" in PUBG is logging into a game and just sitting at the start point, never doing anything to get a few points at the end of the match while you are not even at the PC.

Idle Master just tells Steam the game is running. Its impossible to detect the difference of a game really running or Steam just saying it does.
You cant use Idle Master to idle ingame in PUBG since you dont have a connection to the gameplay servers with Idle Master.

The game has no trading cards. What else would a user idle the game for? Crates. That is what.

Then Idle Master is useless anyway. Idle Master can only idle games that have trading cards remaining.

The OP obviously wants to idle for crates. I was only suggesting that doing so would lead to a Game ban.

How Idle Master works may be irrelevant in this case as it can only idle for cards. More of "beware" if you want to idle for crates more than anything.

Thanks again for extreme clarification as usual Ogami!:steamhappy:

This is one reason why I do ask some users to try and ask you about certain things.

Yeah, my error. I thought the OP just wanted to idle for cards while playing PUBG on the side.
But it makes more sense that he wants to idle the game itself for crates. That does not work of course and may even be ban worthy by the dev.
