Downloads stuck at 9 mbps

I have 60 down and about 15 up with sub 50 ping and a ssd but my downloads cap at 9 mbps. any way to get my full 60mbps?

Call your ISP and ask them why they’re throttling Steam CDN traffic.

Go to Settings>downloads>Display download rates at bits per second.
Is that checkbox checked or not?

i had stream throttling checked maybe thats why

and @gordy freeman i have comcast (xfinity) so theres no point in even contacting them because their customer service is so bad

If Steam says 9mbyte/s then that is about 70mbit/s, if you change that setting then it should show the same numbers that your ISP use.
