Paypal pay doesn't work
I tried to buy a game, like usual with Paypal, but after the "check out" the site froze and I had to reload the site, but now I can't start the payment process again.
Could you help me with this?

I had the same issue with a basic paypal purchase just now, followed the advice here to cancel pending purchases and use Steam Wallet instead, and that worked (thanks! :D ). I think it had ghost versions of the games in the cart still even though it didn't show anything besides the first game I re-added to the cart, so I hit Empty Cart and then re-added both games. Steam wallet came up as the default method of purchase, so I hit Buy For Me (or whatever that choice is).

Promptly got a grey screen with just "steam Error Code: -126" on it. Nice.

Hit the Back button, hit Buy For Me again, and it went through finally. I did notice right after, that I had an email from Steam saying the original purchase had failed and it had saved a cart for me, hence my feeling that there were ghost games floating, and maybe that's part of the reason for the error. I have no idea what Error 126 is either, can't find info on it (edit: ah right, forgot to force Google to use the exact number in search but there seems to be multiple reasons for Error Code 126 and I have a feeling my error was missing descriptive text like "page failed to load" or something).

Wait until it shows up here https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase

Then, cancel and retry.

Direct purchasing games via PayPal seems to be broken at this moment. There's a solution however. Add money to your Steam Wallet first. Adding money to it from PayPal works. When you have Steam Wallet topped up, purchase games using your Steam Wallet instead of PayPal. Just remember to cancel your previous "pending" order via Support -> Purchases, click the pending transaction and cancel it. Cancelling takes a couple of minutes, so wait. If you have any pending transaction, you will not be able to use PayPal again until the pending transaction is either cleared or cancelled.

Yeah, mine still doesn't work, cancelled the attempted purchase but now Steam just won't let me buy anything. I tried adding money to Steam Wallet, same thing. It looks like I just can't buy anything anymore on Steam, waited a few hours the first time, it LOOKS like nothing is wrong and all the searching I can figure to do says basically what's in this thread already, but since it's not working and there's no real way to contact Steam I'm kinda hosed on buying the game here and have to go elsewhere. Brand new computer too, kinda frustrated (1 month, loving it though, just want to buy more games).
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
