Payment pending wont continue to payment received

So I got the AOE deffinitive bundle and it didnt show up on my paypal. I cant cancel nor can I buy any other games. Since I have a pending bs.
Used another website to purchase something and it went through without issue and showed up imediatly on paypal. And since steams a stupid ♥♥♥♥ of a company I have to wait for some fatass tech to email me back cuz god knows you cant call a support line. Anybody got any idea why I'm dealing with this

May need to take it up with PayPal, I encourage same issue related in the past on Gog, Origin, PSN, and etc.

The issue something happen somewhere, either.
A) process fail to transmit to PayPal, meaning couldn't connect to them, just like when you try to connet to web page, but fails to do it, or times out.

B) process fail to receive from PayPal for confirmation.

C) or something on PayPal end not telling you something.

May not be Paypal, I am unable to buy with a credit card either. Steam might be having an issue atm

That is a possibility if there's a server issue at the time of placing orders, which if that happen, it may try to process again later if still pending, or cancel if unable to process the transaction at all over period of time.

Right now the system setup to prevent sending more transactions, if have a pending one already to avoid a extra charges. Paypal wouldn't care if multiple transactions for the same thing are sent it will process them all, so it's mostly been the merchant side that have to avoid allowing something to happen like that, so not charged repeatedly for the same things, or trying to checkout, and have a auto retry in place, which if the issue isn't resolved over period of time, then best contact support/merchant to help resolve the issue.

Yea turns out my bank stopped my paypal from buying from steam..... I'm so piseed right now. They don't have a 24 hour emergency line and my account is completly locked.
How in the ♥♥♥♥ did paypal trigger my account to be locked

Yea they don't have a 24/7 hotline, but they do have a phone number, but need to look for it.

I am having the same problem. Clicked on buy with PayPal... Wouldn't process (PayPal has funds sitting in it so no problem that end). Now I can't buy anything while this is "pending" or find a way to cancel this transaction. Never had this problem before!

Thank you for the links Dr Shadowds - I received an email to try the purchase again from Steam. No luck sadly, no problem with Paypal and its not showing up as pending there. Will have to wait and see I think.

I have. still dint help. I tried to use my CC and neither would work. plus I tried to add my card as backup and for some reason it wouldn't accept my credit card cuz they don't know what company visa is run by. or at least thats what i gathered from the issue message i got. did they fix it finally? its been an issue since Sep 28 as far as i can find.....

same sometimes my bank gets scared when i shop online so idk if it was steam or my end. man i was pissed
and since steam has no human to phone you gotta wait for a tech to email you back.....
