Paypal funds pending

i tried to get some steam funds via paypal, a process i have done hundreds of times already. nw, this time it stopped and didnt proceed, there is no charge on my paypal, and now every time i try to add funds it says there is still a pending process, which there isnt.

Wait til it stops pending. Alternatively, you can cancel the transaction.

thats the thing. there IS no transaction. i tried to charge my account with 25 euros, and it crashed while i tried it. and now there is no transaction in my list, but it still says pending

What list are you looking at? The purchase history shows only completed & failed transactions, no pending. The list on the support page, the one where you can ask support about problems wiht a transaction, has them all. And the list in PayPal may not show pending transactions at all.

I have the same problem today, it seems like it's paypal end that's causing problem

if it's on Steam try this, seems to be a problem for quite a few.
-"Steam support"
-"purchases"
-under "last six months of purchases", click on the purchase that failed/pending
-somewhere on the next page, there will be an "x" next to "cancel this pending transaction"

I have the problem going on right now I just tried to put £10 on through paypal and the same thing happened.

Yes same here in Australia.
Seems like Steam is losing revenue. I think it will be a priority fix.

For me, the purchase got stuck on "working", but i did see it as a transaction, so i could cancel it. However now i just can't buy stuff with paypal. Every attempt just fails

I had the same thing with my Paypal transaction. After it failed, I retried with a different payment method and it succeeded. So if you have a different one, try it.

Same issue. Valve is obsessed with steam China its completely neglected it's normal service. Features broken for months. Store barely works if it works. Completely blocked from purchasing now due to pending purchase issue for the last hour. Sure encourages you to buy from other vendors

Same problem here. I do see an option to cancel the transaction through Steam, but it specifies that I should make sure to cancel the purchase with my "payment provider" first. I don't see the purchase on Paypal so I can't actually cancel it that way, and am worried that cancelling it on Steam's end will cause issues with Paypal. Ugggh

What's broken? Store works perfectly fine, are you referring to when server goes down? Also it's been PayPal as of late, seem using other payment options works.

Same here, trying to make purchases with Paypal gets stuck on the last part of the transaction, with the button stuck on "Working..."

The steam support transactions page show that steam is waiting for confirmation from paypal.

to test, i went to another online site and purchased some products using paypal just fine.

Seems to be a steam issue.
