download progress reset?
Just downloaded 60 of 80 Gb of the game, then needed to restart my computer. I thought i can continue downloading the game, but now it says i got 0 of 80 Gb and that i cant record more data on my hard disk. My hard disk literally got filled with the 80 Gb (but i am at 0 now?).
Pls help

Delete the download cache. That will help matters short -term. Long term, close Steam properly before shutting down.

Game was updated in the meantime, old files no longer available so download is impossible to finish with the old data. Hence, the reset.

Additionally, disk space is reserved at the start of the download so the download can properly finish even if the disc gets full in the meantime.

Repairing A Reset Download
  1. Pause the download via the Steam > Library > Downloads.
  2. Navigate to the library download directory.
    <Steam Library>/steamapps/downloading/
  3. Move the folder <App ID> one folder up.
    <Steam Library>/steamapps/
The app id can be found by reading the URL of the game store page.
  4. Navigate to the library common directory and take note of the game folder name for the game.
  5. Uninstall the game via Steam > Library.
  6. Move the previously relocated directory <App ID> from the steamapps folder to the common folder, and then rename the folder as the previously noted name in step 4.
  7. From the Steam > Library window, re-initiate the installation. Steam will detect the files present and should pickup from where you left off.

I can confirm this works.
the (App ID) is a bunch of 6 numbers as previously mentioned by the original poster ( z3eek) and can be moved to any folder temporarily until needed for step 6 of z3eek instructions :steamhappy:
