Recent Failure Reports:
I last night have run into a Crash Error in STEAM Big Picture Mode,
stating that my PC was deleting my Direct X 3D Drivers, & fixing the issue...
Due to a corrupt Driver, or something...
But, AMD runs fine, & Games run, everything seems fine, I don't see any issues with
my GPU or anything like that, that might indicate a Red Flag of such like oh, my
GPU might not be being used, or whatever...
But when I went to go play a Game, I noticed my Resolution in Game was showing as this...
Before the issue...
2 Displays at 5620x1440 around...
Top 3 Options for Jump Force...
1920x1080, 2560x1440, & 5620x1440 Full Screen...
After the Issue...
2 Displays at 3860x1080 around...
Top 3 Options for Jump Force...
1920x1080, 2560x1440, & 3860x2160
Now from what I gather from this is, is before the issue
my Game matched my System Resolution, where as afterwards
my Game didn't come close to matching my Resolution, & the closest
thing I had was 1080P, & yet I was suprised 4K was even being listed at all...
~_~
PS: I am also getting a Poor Performance in Games, as well...
If you have DDR3 RAM, I was told that DDR4 really, really makes
a huge difference on Windows 10...
Have you even read the thread?
The user does not even use Windows 10.
His OS does not even have DirectX.
The CPU does not support DDR3.
You evidently have no idea what you are talking about.
@wangyongqinleon
Why are you running Ubuntu as a VM through VMware?
Have you made sure PCIe passthrough is enabled for your VM? The use of LLVMPIPE indicates it is not active and actually running graphics in a software renderer. Which would explain why your CPU is going bonkers.
Pro tip: Domt withhold information when asking for help. Sure, the system info hints @ virtualization but you could have mentioned that essential detail yourself.
for everyone else : the vmware llvmpie thing is more the 'default' renderer for when no video card is detected
I did not use vmware I am not sure why my system spec says so.
Are you saying that LLVMpipe renderer is a indication of not using GPU?
sorry forgot that the mesa drivers show up as vmware if you somehow drop down to sofftware rendering
its very likely your mesa and amd drivers are installed wrong
It's not an indicator, it's actual proof.
