Steam account seems like a fake Valve employee
So I was contacted by a friend saying that they accidentally reported me for item duplication, and I had a look at the admin my friend was scared of cause the admin said I was going to be suspended regardless, and I'm suspect about the account.

The account is seeking donations and the donations are in the form of steam items, which go to a different account. If that's not bad enough, googling the account's name brings up nothing Valve related.

Where do I go to be 1000% certain this account is an imposter?

There are no pending bans nor "duplicated" items.

It's a scam so report whoever pretend to be a valve employee / moderator.

^This.

Report the person that claiming to be support, as well report the person that claiming to report you mistakenly and trying to get you to add someone as well to give your items.

I didn't give any items, I assume the valve impersonator was going to ask for a monetary value to be convinced to not "suspend" me.

Turns out my friend, who is actually my cousin, had his account hacked.

Then I suggest when your cousin get his account back to follow the steps below, also to never share his login details with anyone ever again, also don't login from 3rd party websites.

- Deauthorize all devices.

- Generate new back up codes, if you have Steam mobile authenticator, or add one.

- Revoke all API keys.

If using the same password for email, change that as well, and even add 2FA to it as well if supported.

Out of curiosity: How were you not sure its an imposter from the very get-go?

I was almost certain it was an imposter from the get go, I just wanted more reason to confirm my suspicion.
