Bitdefender already found me 2 keyloggers, you can try that.
Try to open task manager and see if there is any weird program open. Search on google the name of the program first before closing it, could be windows. Malwarebytes should also help.
Also, are you 100% sure it is a key logger? Try changing the password for a temporary one and see if it continues to say someone else logged in. Also are you using a vpn? Vpn and logging in through the browser could ♥♥♥♥ some stuff. Could just be a false positive.
But ye, see if that works. Also what type of files and what website are u torrenting from? I won't judge.
Malwarebytes[www.malwarebytes.com] is my preferred anti-malware application. Scan your system and quarantine any instances of malware found.
Personally, I would do the same as what your cousin suggests though. If I find even one instance of malware on my system, it means I screwed up and it's going to get wiped.
If someone has a keylogger, why should re try to login, knowing he can not?
Not saying, there is nothing on your machine. But these two questions are good to answer.
I would change my password on another device, but the keylogger would see it as soon I logged in the first time on the compromised machine, no?
I like to have various videos, tv shows, and movies, as well as the occasional ebook.
I have malwarebytes, but have not tried bitdefender. Perhaps i shall look into that.
Thanks, people!
